Ipswich: Three men arrested after street brawl in Upper Orwell Street

Three men have been arrested after a street fight broke out in Ipswich town centre, police have said.

Two of the three men arrested on suspicion of affray following the altercation in Upper Orwell Street are being treated for minor injuries in Ipswich Hospital. One has a head injury and the other has a leg injury. They have both been detained there.

The other man, a 24-year-old from Ipswich, is being held for questioning at the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.

The brawl took place at around 1.35pm today. All three men were arrested near the scene.

Witnesses or people with information relating to this incident are urged to call police on 101.
