A women in her 80s was flown to hospital.

A WOMAN in her 80s was airlifted to hospital after falling down stairs and suffering a head injury.

The woman was given advanced life support by a East Anglian Air Ambulance critical care paramedic and was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, for further treatment.

The incident happened on Wednesday.

AXA Friends and family emabarked upon a 5K charity walkin Felixstowe  in aid of EACH on Sunday 22nd May.

More than £1,000 was raised by AXA staff and their families when they embarked on a six-mile walk around Felixstowe on Sunday.
