Kesgrave: Appeal after man in car is seen with jeans around knees and ‘acting inappropriately’

PUBLISHED: 21:10 09 January 2014 | UPDATED: 21:10 09 January 2014

Information is being sought after a man in a car was spotted by two girls with his jeans down around his knees and acting in an ‘indecent manner’.

Two 11-year-old girls were walking along Bell Lane, towards Foxhall Road, in Kesgrave at about 4pm on Wednesday when they saw a dark blue car at the side of the road, just past the junction at Penzance Road.

The car was partially on the road and partially on the verge.

When the girls walked past, they saw the man inside the vehicle who was described as acting inappropriately.

Both girls continued walking and then phoned the police.

The man is described as white and aged in his late 30s to early 40s.

Police believe there were other people in the area at this time and are keen to trace a woman with a pushchair and a dog who was walking behind the two girls .

If you saw the incident, or can help police with inquiries, call PC Pete Gill at Police Headquarters, Martlesham Heath on 101.
