An injured 50-year-old motorist was trapped in his car after a collision with a lorry this morning.

Firefighters were called to the A1065 near Lakenheath shortly before 9amto free the man from his Volkswagon Passat.

He was reported to be suffering chest pain and paramedics attended to provide medical treatment.

The vehicle required recovering from the road and a spokesman for Suffolk Constabulary said there may be delays in the area.

The lorry driver was reportedly uninjured.
