Fire crews have released a casualty trapped in their vehicle after a crash.

They were called to the scene in Roughlands, Lakenheath just before 4.30pm.

One unit each from Mildenhall and Brandon attended the single-vehicle incident where the vehicle had been in collision with a private garage.

One person was trapped in the vehicle and they were released by firefighters who left them in the care of the ambulance service and were back at base by 5.47pm.
