A cement mixer has overturned near Colchester.

As it did so sand has spilt over the road and closed it in both directions.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: “A road crash happened when the driver of a cement mixer appears to have lost control of the vehicle while travelling along Langham Lane in Langham shortly after 10am on February 14 and flipped onto its side.

“Nobody was injured.

“The road is currently closed while the vehicle is recovered and this closure is being handled by the Highways Agency.”
