Festival-goers travelling to Southwold are experiencing long delays on the A12.

The Latitude Festival is now in its second day today, but many motorists travelling to Henham Park for the annual event have been caught up in traffic.

Delays are reported on the A12, between A144 and A145, and Darsham and Blythburgh.

For full coverage of the festival go to www.eadt.co.uk/latitude or www.ipswichstar.co.uk/latitude.

You can also get live updates from our reporters at the festival at www.eadt.co.uk/home/live-news and www.ipswichstar.co.uk/home/live-news

On Monday the East Anglian Daily Times will include a 12-page supplement on the music and arts festival.

  • Never mind the travellers to the festival, what about the poor road users trying to go about their normal business, going shopping, visiting lonely relatives? There are insufficient procedures in place at Latitude and this impacts on other road users. As an aside, it's about time the A12 was upgraded to dual for it's entire length.
