The model lives at Coldham Hall in Lawshall, near Bury St Edmunds, with her husband – film producer Matthew Vaughan – and their three children.

The blaze broke out on Monday afternoon and damaged a number of outbuildings and stables, including the clock tower.

It is thought that up to 50 firefighters spent more than two hours battling the fire at the 16th Century hall, which the couple bought for £5million in 2002.

Parts of the complex were left smouldering yesterday but the eight fire crews managed to prevent the flames from spreading to the Grade 1 listed hall.
