  • Ben Gummer's attitude is an interesting one. Using template messages such as "Our democracy is our strength" when its actually our democracy (or lack of) is our weakness. I hope the MP will use his remaining time left to cohere with local government to make Ipswich less Ipswich (couldn't exactly use the word I was thinking of)...

  • Winston Barrington Jr. I don't think people have been banned for commenting on this site; they just realise it is a waste of time because anything intelligent which tries to comment on important issues is not allowed. Even comments on their censorship policy are often banned; especially if comparisons are made (but it is ok for Prince Charles to do that!). So at the end of the day I suspect PC Plod et al think is it worth wasting my time trying to add my thoughts on important issues to these comment pages or shall I just have a nice cup of tea. The tea wins. Sad for our region.

  • I also don't think any of our votes will matter. The respective councils will still retain power, and they will continue to run our home town into the ground.

  • I see you quickly dropped the article and Poll on going to the Suffolk Show when it showed that the overwhelming majority were not that interested! Not what you wanted I think.
