A pet cat had to have its leg amputated in Lound after being shot.

At around 5.20am on Friday, May 23, the cat’s owner heard what sounded like a large single gun shot close to his home. Around 6.15am the injured cat – a female tabby - was found struggling back to the property. She appeared to have been shot and this was confirmed when the animal was taken to the vet for treatment. The cat’s leg had to be amputated.
