A MAN has suffered a life threatening head injury after being involved in a collision with a lorry this morning.

One lane of the A12 northbound, north of Lowestoft, has now been re-opened following the crash which happened just before 10am.

The dual carriageway north of Rackhams Corner was closed after the collision close to the Blundeston turning.

The 38-year-old cyclist was taken to the James Paget hospital with head injuries, which the East of England Ambulance say are life threatening.

Police are asking anyone who saw the incident to call Suffolk Police on 101.
