A teenager is due in court this morning charged of burglary and four counts of fraud.

Joshua Jones, of Kirkley Cliff Road in Lowestoft, was arrested yesterday in connection with a burglary at Hawthorne Avenue in the town between December 22 and January 1.

The 18-year-old was also interviewed in connection with opening a store account and a mobile phone contract in another person’s name to obtain goods dishonestly.

He has now been charged with the home burglary, where a laptop computer, jewellery and cash were stolen, and with four counts of fraud by false representation.

He has been detained in custody to appear at court from 9.20am this morning.
