Police are appealing for help tracing next of kin.


Police are appealing for help to trace the next of kin of two men who died in Lowestoft recently.


John Lachlan Wood who was found deceased at his home in Spashett Road in the town on Tuesday 11 March.

And, separately, Trevor Hughes, also known as Terry Hughes, who died at his home in Crown Street West on Friday 14 March.

Despite initial enquiries no next-of-kin have been found.

Mr Wood, 54, was found at his home around 9.25pm on Tuesday 11 after a friend became concerned for his welfare as they had not seen him.

Enquiries have revealed that he may have a sister who may have connections to the Gloucester, Colchester or Great Yarmouth areas but no details have been found for her to date.

Mr Hughes, 64, died after collapsing at his home around 1.15pm on Friday. There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances to his death but no details could be found for any relatives.
