One lane of the A12 northbound, north of Lowestoft, has now been re-opened following the crash which happened just before 10am.

The dual carriageway north of Rackhams Corner was closed after the collision close to the Blundeston turning.

The 38-year-old cyclist was taken to the James Paget hospital with head injuries, which the East of England Ambulance say are life threatening.
