Eight fire crews were called out after a ship caught fire while undergoing welding work.
A small fire affected the store room of the ship docked at North Quay in Lowestoft, but had been put out by the time firefighters arrived at around 12.50pm.
One member of the ship’s crew was taken to hospital for treatment for light smoke inhalation.
Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to check the fire had not spread to any other parts before leaving the at around 1.30pm.
