Two people had to be led to safety this evening after a fire broke out in Lowestoft.

Crews from Lowestoft North and Lowestoft South were called to a property in Lothing Street in the town at 4.13pm after reports of a fire in a kitchen.

Crews had the fire under control by 4.31pm.
