A knife attack took place in Lowestoft


Two people received cuts after being confronted by a man with a knife in Lowestoft.

The attack happened on Tuesday between 11.30pm and midnight in the Till Road/Camp Road area of the town.

The pair, a 30-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman had walked up an alleyway off Camp Road when the armed man jumped out and attacked them.

The woman sustained a 5cm cut to her face and the man a cut to his foot before the offender ran off.

Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen or heard the incident taking place.
