Motorcyclist banned after speeding at 130mph on the A14

Two people are due before magistrates today charged in connection with a stabbing in Essex.

Michael Cooper, 27, of Thorney Bay Road, Canvey, and a 16-year-old boy from Westcliff, have been charged with wounding with intent and are due to attend Chelmsford Magistrates Court today.

A man in his 40s received puncture wounds after being assaulted in St Peter’s Avenue, Maldon, at around 1pm on Monday.

His wounds were not life threatening.
