A man has been charged with an imitation firearms offence following an incident in Lowestoft.
On Monday, 21-year-old Matthew Knight of Blyford Road, Lowestoft, was charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent and driving without insurance.
He appeared before Norwich Magistrates Court on Tuesday where he was remanded in custody to appear before Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday, October 30.
Police had attended reports of a man allegedly in possession of a firearm in the Blyford Road area of the town on Friday, September 28 at around 12.30pm.
The man was also allegedly making threats to a man known to him.
