Man in his 30s found dead in Colchester

A man in his 30s has been found dead at a property in Colchester.

Police were called at around 12.15pm yesterday, Thursday, December 28, with concerns for the welfare of a man at an address in Harwich Road.

Officers from Essex Police and Essex County Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene and forced entry to the property.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Sadly a man aged in his 30s was found deceased.”

He added the man’s death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.

A file is being prepared for the coroner.
