Martlesham: Two engagement rings among jewellery haul stolen from School Lane property

Police are appealing for information.

Two engagement rings were among items of jewellery stolen from a house in Martlesham yesterday.

The School Lane property was broken-in to sometime between 2.15pm and 2.45pm when jewellery and cash was taken,.

Items taken include an antique gold diamond and sapphire engagement ring, a white gold illusion diamond engagement ring and a gold rope design necklace with heart pendant.

A woman’s gold ring, a silver necklace with diamond or cubic zirconia stone and an Egyptian gold necklace with nugget pendant were also taken.

The offenders also made off with a gold ring with a turquoise stone, a thin gold chain with a turquoise stone, a silver St Christopher necklace and four tobacco tins containing money.

Anyone with information is asked to call Dc Victoria Mitchell at Woodbridge CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
