Melton: Police bail two men after corner shop robbery arrest

Melton: Two men arrested in connection with a corner shop robbery have been bailed.

The robbery is alleged to have happened at the McColl’s convenience store in The Street, Melton on Friday, August 8, when police received reports that a man demanded money from the till.

A 22-year-old man from Felixstowe was arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been released on police bail to return to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre on Monday, September 15. A 23-year-old man from Ipswich was arrested on the same grounds and has been bailed to return on Friday, October 10. Detectives are appealing for any witnesses to call 101.
