Middleton: Man taken to hospital after car strikes tree

A MAN in his 80s has been taken to hospital after his car ploughed into a tree.
Police said the man, who was driving a red Seat, was taken to hospital following the incident which took place on the B1122 at Middleton at 1.53pm today.
Details of injuries were unknown.
