Mildenhall: Fire crews free woman trapped inside vehicle

POLICE have re-opened a road in Mildenhall after a two car traffic accident.

Fire crews from Mildenhall, Littleport and Newmarket were called to Mildenhall Drove in Kenny Hill at 4.15pm.

Fire fighters had to cut off the top of one of the cars to remove a female casualty trapped inside complaining of back pain.

Police closed the road for several hours while recovery vehicles ceared the scene. The road has now been re-opened.

Snow could fall in parts of Suffolk this morning as temperatures dropped overnight.
