Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after two 11-year-old boys were approached in Mildenhall.

The incident happened in Emmanuel Close between 3pm and 3.45pm yesterday.

The boys were walking along the road when a man approached them from a church car park and spoke to them. He then continued to follow them.

He is described as a black man, with brown hair, brown eyes, in his mid-thirties to early forties with an American accent and was wearing a black hooded top, black jogging bottoms and white high-top trainers.

Anyone with information should contact Pc Alexandra Waller from Mildenhall on 101.
