Suffolk police confirmed that a lorry had veered off the road just after 8am on the A11 northbound in Mildenhall at Icklingham.

A police spokesman said the both carriageways would be closed from noon today for around two hours.

He added: “A lorry has left the carriageway and because of the size of the vehicle, it will take quite a considerable recovery effort to move it.”
