Motorcyclist taken to hospital after A14 crash at Risby

A man was taken to hospital after he came off the motorcycle he was riding.

Emergency services were called to the eastbound carriageway of the A14 at Risby at 11.14am.

The motorcyclist, aged in his late 40s, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for treatment, police said.

The road was closed while police and ambulance crews worked at the scene.

It reopened at noon.
