A motorist suffered injuries in a two-vehicle collision which caused delays for motorists on the Suffolk/Essex border this morning.

Emergency crews were called to the A134 Horkesley Hill in Nayland following the accident at 8.05am today.

A Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said one motorist involved in the crash sustained injuries “not thought to be life-threatening”.

A black Ford Mondeo and a black Volkswagen Polo were involved in the collision.

The type and severity of the injuries is not yet known. Paramedics have been called.

The A134 Horkesley Hill in Nayland was partially blocked and very slow traffic was reported southbound between the B1087 Bear Street junction and the Tog Lane junction before the road fully reopened at around 9.45am.

Police are at the scene of a crash on the A1071 near Hintlesham this evening.
