AN investigation into the death of a woman at a level crossing has been launched by the Rail Accident Investigation Board.
It will look into the fact there are no warning lights at the Gipsy Lane footpath level crossing, in Needham Market.
An initial report highlights safe use of the crossing relies on pedestrians hearing and seeing trains approaching.
The accident happened at 1.52pm on August 24.
