Roads police discovered a ‘treasure trove’ of allegedly stolen tools in the back of a vehicle travelling out of Suffolk.

Two men, thought to be from outside the county, were detained in Newmarket on suspicion of stealing tools from a business in Ipswich on Friday.

Police said a further search of the vehicle revealed a haul of hammers, spanners and other new tools.
