A safe was stolen by burglars from a Newmarket takeaway.

The suspects gained entry by smashing a hole in the glass at the front of the building in Elizabeth Parade, before stealing the safe containing approximately £500 cash.

The incident happened between 4.20am and 4.35am on Tuesday July 29.
