Police are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted in Newmarket.

The victim, who is in her 20s, was walking along Exning Road when a man walked over to her and grabbed her arm.

The woman pulled away and continued to walk.

The man is described as white, in his mid 20s, tall, thin, wearing a black zipped-up jacket and blue jeans with blonde hair and a fringe.

If you recognise the description or have any information about this incident call Pc Nicholas Chapman at Mildenhall Police Station on 101.
