A young man is in a stable condition at Addenbrooke’s Hospital after falling from his motorcycle in Newmarket.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance was sent to the scene of the accident earlier today involving the man, who is in his late teens.

Captain Neil Waller flew Dr Jenny Townsend and CCP, Ben Caine to the incident and landed at the north edge of the race track. The team treated the patient at the scene along with colleagues from the East of England Ambulance Service Trust.

The young man was then taken to Addenbrooke’s by land ambulance accompanied by Dr Jenny Townsend and CCP, Ben Caine.
