Newmarket: Body of man found in the woods

A MAN’S body has been found in the woods off Bury Road in Newmarket.
Four men went into Newmarket Police Station at around 6.15pm this evening to report that they had found the body of their friend in the wooded area.
The men had not seen the man for four days and had been out searching for him when they came across the body.
He had not previously been reported as missing to police.
Officers immediately visited the location and found the body of a man, believed to be in his 30s or 40s.
The area has been cordoned off while an initial investigation gets underway at the scene.
At this stage, as is standard procedure, the death is being treated as unexplained.
Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk Police on 101.
