Two fire crews have extinguished two Transit Vans that were on alight in Newmarket.

The crews arrived at the scene in Laureate Paddocks at 6.39pm, and two firefighters, using breathing apparatus used a water fog to extinguish the fire, which is believed to be suspicious.

The fire service contacted the police, and the incident was brought under control by 7.14pm.

The crews were back at the station by 7.51pm.
