Newmarket: Firefighters attend flat blaze

Three fire crews attended a flat in Newmarket this evening following reports of a smell of smoke.
Two appliances from the town were mobilised to the scene in Regent Court at around 6.30pm. On arrival a third appliance was requested and mobilised from Burwell Cambridgeshire.
Crews made a forced entry into the property and extinguished the fire by 7pm.
