Panfield: Firefighters called into action after pub cellar floods

Firefighters had to pump water out of a pub cellar after it flooded close to electrics.

One appliance from Braintree attended the incident at The Bell, in Kynaston Road, Panfield, at around 10am this morning.

The crew used a light portable pump to clear water from the cellar, and the incident was dealt with by 10.30am.

A 35-year-old man has been charged following an armed robbery at a business premises in Stowmarket.
