Pregnant learner driver’s car seized by police on dual carriageway

A pregnant learner driver had her car seized after she was pulled over by police on the A11 in Mildenhall.

The woman, whose name and age was not specified, holds a provisional licence but was driving without supervision or L plates.

Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Police had acted on “community intelligence” when they seized the blue Peugeot 307.

The offence will be dealt with in due course.
