Primark shoplifter chased by police

A shoplifter was caught by police patrolling a park after a chase.

Officers from from Ipswich Central police said they “gave chase to a shoplifter who had made off from Primark security staff in Ipswich” during the afternoon on Monday, August 6.

They came across the culprit while condicting anti-social behaviour patrols in Alexandra Park.

Officers Tweeted: “The runaway was detained by officers and dealt with by way of a community resolution. Goods were recovered.”
