RAF Honington saw a change of command last week when outgoing Group Captain Andy Hall handed over to Group Captain Scott Miller.

Group Captain Hall is leaving to take up a post at the Defence College at Shrivenham in the new year while Group Captain Miller joins Honington after working on the 2012 Olympics.

Group Captain Miller said: “Assuming command of RAF Honington is both a great privilege and responsibility, especially at a time when more personnel are deploying to Afghanistan.

“I’ve always been impressed by how Suffolk has willingly supported RAF Honington and the RAF Regiment family.”
