A car crash has closed a road in Rattlesden near Stowmarket while an injured passenger is freed from the vehicle.

Police were called to reports that a silver Perodua was involved in an accident on Lower Road in the village at around 2.20pm.

The two women in the front of the car were reportedly unharmed although the female in the back was complaining of neck pain.

Firefighters were called to possibly cut the rear passenger free and an ambulance was also due to attend.

The road was reported closed at 3pm.
