Firefighters have tackled a blaze in a chimney.

The drama unfolded around 6.50pm tonight at a non-thatched property in Warren Road, Red Lodge.

A crew from nearby Mildenhall attended and battled the blaze for more than an hour.

It was under control by 8.10pm. A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said there were no casualties or people who needed to be rescued.
