A pick-up truck with a trailer carrying 10 tonnes of baled straw caught fire in north Suffolk last night (Wednesday).

Crews from Eye and Stradbroke were called to reports that the 4x4 vehicle and its load were alight at The Knoll in Redlingfield at around 8.10pm.

Firefighters tackled the blaze using a hydrant to replenish water supplied and had it under control just after 8.50pm.
