Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault

High-tech filming and camera equipment worth around £100,000 has been stolen from a warehouse at Bentwaters Business Park.

The break-in happened in Rendlesham when thieves forced their way into the warehouse on Bentwaters Business Park shortly before 10.30pm on Saturday.

Investigating officer, Dc Andrew Barker, said: “While we carry out our initial enquiries, we are appealing for information and witnesses to this burglary or suspicious activity in the Rendlesham area, especially on the Snape Road B1069 between 9-11pm on Saturday.”

A forensic examination of the property was carried out and CCTV is being reviewed.

Anyone with information in connection with this burglary is urged to contact detectives at Woodbridge police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
