The revamp of the former East of England Co-op store in Woodbridge’s Thoroughfare has been completed.

The store has been turned into four one and two bed flats and a new retail store for Mountain Warehouse.

The flats will go on the market this month through Fenn Wright Lettings.

It’s the first residential development to be completed in 2018 by the East of England Co-op, with further developments planned for Colchester and Witham.

Nick Denny, joint chief executive for the East of England Co-op, said: “We’re very pleased to be providing quality homes at the heart of Woodbridge, and are looking forward to welcoming Mountain Warehouse to the town.

“As a co-operative business we believe in supporting local businesses to create jobs, while bringing new services to our communities and helping to ensure our high streets thrive.”
