A road collision left two men trapped in a car on its side for more than an hour.
A volunteer doctor from the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service charity was called to the scene, in Thurston Road, Rougham, at around 12.30pm today.
A silver BMW saloon had collided with a dark-green Suzuki Wagon R at Fishwick Corner crossroads.
The Suzuki was left on its side, trapping the driver, a man in his sixties, and his male passenger, in his eighties, for just over an hour. They were released after the roof of the vehicle was removed by firefighters Ixworth and Bury St Edmunds.
Both men were taken in separate ambulances to West Suffolk Hospital but their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver of the BMW and his two passengers were uninjured.
