Labradors in Christmas hats and Jack Russell’s in festive jumpers - just some of the photos sent in during the first few days of our Santa Paws competition.

We launched our competition earlier this week, with a prize of a professional photo shoot for the winner.

Readers have been keen to share their photos of their festive pets, and our inbox has been flooded with your fantastic photos.

Jessica Cornish said: “Here is a photo of my two dogs Fred the Jack Russell cross in his Christmas jumper and Bradley the red fox Labrador wearing a Christmas hat.

Julie Grimwood, of Kesgrave, said: “I thought you may like these photos of our two deerhound dogs, The Kray Twins. They were recently on ITV2 I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here dressed as Lady C and Yvette Fielding.”
