A car ended up in a ditch after apparently losing control on a bend in east Suffolk last night.

Suffolk police were called to reports of a single vehicle collision at around 9.25pm last night (Wednesday).

A police spokesman said it happened on the B1119 near Leiston and involved a silver Volkswagen Golf.

“The driver appeared to lose control and they ended up in a ditch,” the spokesman said.

No one was injured in the crash and the driver, a man, arranged the vehicle’s recovery.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue was called to assist after the accident.
