Three cable cutting crimes in west Suffolk are being linked by police.
Offenders opened a manhole cover on Bury Road in Stanton and forcefully removed a section of phone cable sometime between 7am on Monday January 20 and the same time the following week.
Suffolk Constabulary is linking this crime with two similar incidents in Pakenham where further sections of phone cable were damaged but not stolen in Orchard Lane on Sunday, January 19.
The first incident happened at around 8.35am and the second and around 8pm that evening.
