Stowmarket: Motorcyclist taken to hospital after collision with car

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with leg injuries after a two-vehicle collision.

The incident happened on the B1077 in Stowmarket at about 1pm today and involved a silver Vauxhall and a green Triumph motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, believed to be a man in his 50s, was taken to Ipswich Hospital with leg injuries. A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said it appeared the injuries would require surgery.

The incident was dealt with by 2.30pm.
